Never Asked for Admin Username and Password

I installed version 1.4.4. I'm woking on a LAMP server. Everything seemed to go smoothly during the installation. I went to myname.com and the install.php came up smile I went through the process and everything seemed fine. The program never asked me for an admin username and password.

I tried logging in using admin/admin for my username and password and I got the following error message.

Is there a simple fix for this?
Thanks.

If you can access the database directly (eg using phpMyAdmin) then you can manually create your admin account. Check out:

I just wondered when it happened to me: When the installation went wrong I closed my browser and reopened it agnain and Moodle took up the installation process from that point. What if someoen else would visit the side on the same moment? Is he now your admin.
