Can a teacher be teacher for one group but student in another but for the same course

Hello Smart People,

I am not sure if any of you had this issue before, can a teacher be teacher for one group but student in another but for the same course. We have a situation where we have many groups in one course. Both teachers and students are part of the same course as students but we want some students to be teachers on a few groups for the same courses. Teachers appear in the grade book and we do not want that. Can someone please advise how we do that?

Yes it is possible and would enjoy privileges of both Student and a Teacher.

Even if you imagine in real life, you can be Science teacher but learning Mechanics.
