I go to the Admin Block. Click on Backup and nothing at all happens. Is there something incorrectly set?

Sorry for the delay in replying. I asked my ICT Support and they said.
The cron job is failing which means it is not completing fully or not running at all, so I have to figure out why. It may be server related or moodle related depending on how far it gets thru the task.
However, the issue is not cron related. I am trying to copy the contents of a course to another course. According to the documenation I should be able to go to the course. Click on Admin Back Up. Which I do. But nothing happens. It simply hangs there. My understanding this has nothing to do with cron which manages an automatic back up process.

The fact is, the backup and restore scripts crash. Raise the http://docs.moodle.org/en/Debugging level to see why.
