I have recently downloaded Moodle 2.3 onto a Windows 2003 r2 server. I have extracted the files. Have gone into the mysql folder and tried to run the mysql service and recieved a error code 1067. I looked in the install service batch file and saw it was trying to copy a file. I looked in mysql\bin\my.cfg was not there only the my.ini was there and all the rest of the files.

Tried doing the same thing with apache as a service and got an error code 1.

Has anyone else properly installed these services on a windows 2003 server?

Hi Mark,

It seems you have a previous installation, and so you need to uninstall it first.

It's been reported that this could also happen when the log file is bigger than the size set in the configuration file. You might want to take a look at the following page:
