I'm not sure if this is expected behavior or not, but in a rated multiple choice, if a user chooses 'Not selected' as the answer, it assigns a value of 0 when calculating the Analysis for the Feedback. (We are using Moodle 1.9x). This is problematic for a survey we are doing with Feedback at our school. Here's a screenshot of the issue. There are two submitted answers to the question, but only one 'real' answer. The average at the bottom, however, is calculating the 'Not selected' as a zero, which is the same as if the student had selected the first option ('Bad') rather than 'Not selected'. Switching the questions to mandatory will not work for us since the students need a 'not applicable' option on the surveys. Is there a way to change this so that 'Not selected' answers are ignored when doing the Analysis calculations?
Thanks in advance for any help with this! Sorry if this issue was addressed earlier; I tried to dig through the posts for the Feedback module, but didn't see this particular problem.
Here's a sample screenshot of the issue (note, the average at the bottom should be '2.00' rather than '1.00'):
