Moodle in English

Today I tried to do a new installation with CVS for easier updating in the future.  I followed the CVS-Windows instructions, but at the last step, after clicking "okay"  sourceforge asked for a password. I assumed it was the same as the Unix installation (no password needed), but it denied me access after the second try. Later I tried again, plugging in any old password, but was denied access again.  What am I doing wrong?
