Hi Doug. Having your Moodle on your computer locally and having it on the internet are two quite different things really, though it can be achieved once you know how. You would need to get your Moodle - or a brand new Moodle to which you can add content - on a server on the internet. In terms of downloading courses and opening on your laptop - well - why would you want to do that? If you download a course then you can only really see it properly if you restore it into your Moodle -take a look here http://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Restore
