Paypal enrolment period end and moodle 2.0 student data purge

Hi,

Based on http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-25718

Moodle 2.0 onward the student data is purged at unenrolment. I have few questions regarding it:

  1. I am using paypal and manual enrolment. Is the enrolment period ending same as unenrolment of a user? Based on my light testing they are different and user data was not purged.
  2. If user data is purged, there is an option of re-enroling a student and then selecting to "Recover user's old grades if possible", will this also restore the quiz attempts / uploaded files / assignments etc?

Any help is appreciated.

anyone has any general experience with student data purge in moodle 2.0? will re enrolling bring back their marks, quizes?
