So I had this discussion with a teacher who said she has multiple teachers writing questions for the same course. She would like a teachers assign levels to the questions they produce by assigning the question to one level of the rubric. The teachers can then wants choose questions fro a database by using that rubric so she can ensure the questions check against a variety of levels, so you cater to all the student levels (and are able to diferentiate the levels).
She would then like to check the students' results after taking the quiz against the rubric to analyse and improve on next year or address shortcomings, etc.
For example, 20% of the questions in the quiz are aimed at the A level students, so you expect that around 20% of the studetns will get the answer right.
This rubric is aimed at teachers learning more about how they design questions and how they checking they are teaching to all the students.
Does anyone do anything like this already?
