how do i create a new database using xampp setup?

how do i create a new database using xampp setup?

i am using the xampp setup for php, apache and mysql.  when i run the install.php it comes asking for the username and all of the database but i need to have the database inplace already.  i totally forgot how to create it.  i know it's a stupid question but i have a brain freeze.

i wish i could just delete this post.  it is setup.  i was just having issues with the command line for creating the database.
