For about a week ago log in to moodle stopped working with the ipad app. Instead an error message is displayed: Please check our login details or ask your site administrator to check Moodle configuration.
The login details works fine with Safari and the Moodle mobile web service have not been changed. What might be wrong here?
I'm seeing something similar. I can log on as a teacher or admin using the iOS app but students cannot.
I think the role settings are correct (at least they are the same for both teachers and students) so the only other thing is having students on a different LDAP domain I guess (we are authenticating against Windows AD).
Students can log on normally via web browsers using any device, incuding iOS, but not with the app.
I have a similar problem:
I can log in with the Iphone app (downloaded from Itune 30th of October 2012) to a "standard" Moodle 2.2, but I cannot log to a moodle site with an LDAP that manages two types of login acces "insiders" (those in the LDAP) and "outsiders", i.e users who have been added manually to the Moodle, but who unknown to the LDAP.
I am an "insider", but I am not sure the app know how to even start login since there is this choice that needs to be made.
I've tried login from the main moodle address and the authentication page, both fail.
