Coding error detected?

Hi Guys,

I'm using Moodle 2.2.3 and I'm a newby to Moodle.

I added a new course category that went OK, but when I went to add a course of any kind I get the following error.

'Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: paging_bar requires a perpage value'

more info...

Coding errors (or coding_exceptions) are problems that are probably caused by incorrect code. For example a plugin that does not communicate correctly with Moodle core.

These errors are normally not caused by incorrect user input or temporary problems like the connection to the database server being down.

As with all error messages, it's a good idea to search moodle.org and the tracker to see if anyone else has reported the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ash

Just an update, I have tried 2 new categories and I get the same result. As soon as I assign a course to that category it will accept it but if I try and access that category again, I get this...

Can anyone help with this please?

Hi Ashley,

On the Front page settings, check that the Courses per page setting is not 0.
