Dear all,
Just a quick question... Is the 'Restore/backup' upload file size maximum for a given course the same as the general max file size you can set for assignment uploads etc? Or are backup/restore file sizes completely independent?

Hi Simon
Some quick testing on my 2.1+ site suggests that the file size max for a file uploaded to the restore area is not related to the course you are in or the site limit but the server's php upload limit. Someone else might be able to confirm this but I managed to upload and restore a 13mb backup file after setting the site and course limit to 10mb - my server's php limit is 21mb (which explains why I couldn't upload a 26.8mb backup file!).
