Will you have the ability to attach more than one document in forums with Moodle 2.2? Or is it as previous versions where you can only attach 1 document?
You can attach more than one document if the person who set up the forum has allowed it in the forum settings - documentation here http://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Forum_settings
