Hi,
I've just been given the job of setting up and administering a Moodle server, and it will most likely be tied into an organization using Windows Server 2003 w/ IIS. I have years of experience with W2K server and Mac OS X server. I have no experience administering MySQL/PHP.
Are there any recommended training courses and/or books for MySQL/PHP, and/or Moodle administration in general? Thanks.
Bob M
XAMPP from www.apachefriends.org is a great way of getting mysql/php onto your server. I'm pretty sure Moodle doesn't work with IIS but XAMPP adds apache as well so no worries there.
I started trying to install Moodle about 3-4 months ago and now I am hooked.
