Hi,

I am evaluating the technologies that could be used for

develpoing mobile based clients of moodle, I came across this webpage,

it states that one of the disadvantages of HTML5 is that it requires

huge core changes to Moodle, can someone elaborate on this issue?

at Moodbile.org you can find our functional HTML5 Mobile client. 

The only thing that needs moodle is additional webservices and a JSON/P webservices connector. We have developerd it and is documented here http://docs.moodbile.org/index.php/Moodbile_WS_Latest_Version_Documentation Code is available for download here: http://www.moodbile.org/course/view.php?id=4
