I'd like to see Mark Stevens' workshop handout alluded to in http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=18112 included here on the doc Project site as a resource.
This got me to thinking about all the others that folks have worked on (like Marguerite's horticulture piece at cornell -and Martin's request that she host it herself and provide a link).
Obviously it becomes a burden on the .org admins to deal with versions, updates, typos, etc.. .and not practical for them to give teacher rights to every person who puts together a nice little piece of documentation or supporting material. At the same time, hosting locally has its drawbacks- especially when you consider server rights, movement of faculty, and that sort of thing.
So could we get a new forum here that is specifically for such things (either as attachments, or hyperlinks to pages/files)? This particular forum could allow for larger attachments, and then follow-ups (like notifications of typos, suggestions, etc...) could easily be replies to the corresponding post.
Please let me know if this is doable, and how I can help.
