Moodle 2.2.2
Recently upgraded to 2.2.2 and now when I click on a quiz in a course (as administrator), I am taken back to the website home page but the address is http://appliedtech-stl.com/lms/mod/quiz/view.php?id=2349 in the address bar and not http://appliedtech-stl.com.
Very strange...any help would be desperately appreciated.
That is very strange.
Which theme are you using? Looks like a custom one. The theme trying to do something clever and getting it wrong could possibly cause this.
Might be worth turning on Debugging to see if that gives any useful error messages.
I tried changing the theme and it made no difference. I also turned on debugging and got not errors. I even purged the cache, and yet the problem persists.
Anyone have any ideas? Greatly appreciative.
It still makes no sense that the URL http://appliedtech-stl.com/lms/mod/quiz/view.php?id=2349 can display the home page. Moodle just does not work like that.
This is crazy. When I upgraded I used Softaculous from Siteground to upgrade to 2.2.2.
Well, this morning I made a new installation of moodle 2.2.2 into another directory, then copied the entire quiz directory into my "broken" directory. Now everything seems to work as designed.
Softaculous must have corrupted a file during the upgrade or something. But it worked. Thank you Tim for the advice and I so appreciate the entire group for all the help in the past and probably the future.
