Dear All,
Just establishing a 2.2 test/eval.n server.
Trivial qn: is it possible to change a theme's logo by simply referencing a locally uploaded image file, rather than linking to some external online source?
Regards,
Andrew
I am not sure what you mean by "locally uploaded" but if you mean within Moodle then take a look at question 6 here http://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Themes_FAQ
Hi Mary,
thanks for your reply. I found the following very useful, as far as customising themes:
docs.moodle.org/dev/Creating_a_custom_theme.
Essentially, a quick resolution was to replace my chosen theme's header logo with an image file of my own.
"locally uploaded", apologies if it's incorrect parlance, but it was intended to describe a file uploaded to (and stored on) the Moodle server's database.
I guess, in terms of building an accurate cognitive map of Moodle, I may have misunderstood a thing or two. ie. I presumed that an image file uploaded for use as a course resource could also be referenced by the site admin appearance function in order to amend a header logo.
Regards,
Andrew
