Default font of Moodle (Trebuchet) can not display Vietnamese correctly

I'm managing the courses at http://el.edu.net.vn/lms and Vietnamese Moodle at http://moodle.org/course/view.php?id=45. The problem is the default font of Moodle is Trebuchet so it can not show Vietnamese correctly. In my opinion, Trebuchet doesn't support Unicode completely. Is that right?

I have the same problem with HTMLArea (the default font is Trebuchet too).

I have to change the default font of Moodle and HTMLArea editor into Verdana. I'm using IE 6.

I wonder whether Martin can change default font from Trebuchet to other fonts supporting Unicode. If possible, does it affect other languages?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Pity, I really find Trebuchet very readable.

Can someone do some research into this so we can have a better default font?

Are we pretty much stuck with Arial and Verdana?

Dear Martin,

I changed my browser from Internet Explorer 6 to FireFox 1.0.1.  Moodle showed Vietnamese correctly.

With Verdana, it's ok (show Vietnamese correctly) for both Internet Explorer and FireFox.

So which font is better? I don't know exactly. What about other languages?

We need to find the best default font for Moodle. Any other ideas?
