I put  language menu on on my moodle site, no problem with Thai languge, but when one changes language to English, the attached pictures in the forum can not opened, it leaves a red-cross  broken link sign , although the link is alright and the picture is there in the folder, I try to refresh the brownser, but don't work.  It will work only when one changes the language to Thai.
I set locale to th_TH and charset to windows-874.  version is Moodle 1.4.3

What is the problem ? anything to do with the link format as http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/file.php/1/moddata/forum/1/3318/DSC00304.JPG

or any problem using subdomain http://elearning.bangkaew.com

Please help.

I clear all the blank line in the notification-email wording ( which may be unnecessary to do so) and the blank line at the bottom, it perfectly works.
And also , once the editor is text only in English mode, now it becomes  html editor.

BTW, how did you come to find this cause of problem ?
I use to think that blank line problem just happens to config.php

BTW, how did you come to find this cause of problem ?

The fact that your problem was only occuring when you changed language to English indicated that the problem was due to you lang/en/ files.  Also when I added lang=en to the url you gave for the picture in question:
http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/file.php/1/moddata/forum/1/3318/DSC00304.JPG?lang=en
produced a "headers already sent" error message.  I then entered
http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/lang/en/moodle.php
into my configcheck.php script at
https://webwork2.math.ohio-state.edu/configcheck.php
which found two blank lines.

Thanks, your configcheck.php script  is very useful.
It helps me solve a lot of problems.
I have no html editor area in my calendar module for a long time, when I deleted the blank line in event.php this morning ,  it comes to normal screen again.

I become worried that I have edited a lot of scripts to leave blank line unintentionally using cPanel editor, the problems may not appear for me to know right now, but may be  hiding somewhere waiting to explode.

Can anyone make the blank line problem disappear in the next version,  or make it fool-proof. ?

Cpanel is a known problem here ... the text editor always add blank lines.

There is nothing we can do about that, unfortunately ... just be aware of it and be careful.

For editing languages you shouldn't be editing them directly anyway ... use the GUI in Moodle ... admin >> configuration >> languages >> edit ...
