I was recently asked to put together a presentation for delivering moodle course using external html documents. I have with me 1) course handbook.html 2) 3 units in the form of html files. The course handbook refers to delivering these units in several weeks. I have 2 tasks that I need to achieve.
Using the attached sample contents, please create a course design layout (e.g. HTML, screenshots, images or similar document) of how you would present this course on our Moodle site.
You may produce additional media to support your design layout.
The attached HTML documents form part of the main course content and must be hyperlinked off the main course page to open in a separate window.
Please present your design justifying your methodology and design logic.
Analysing the contents that you used in task 1, how would you transform the contents/ design? Please include the following in your presentation:
· Ideas of how you would transform the course e.g. changes to existing contents, re-designs etc
· Discussion on any additional media/ technologies that you would implement to enhance the course
· Mock designs/ sketches of how your vision of the course design would look
Please ensure that your design presentations suits the functionality of the Moodle platform.
As a Moodle administrator and some one who deals more on the technical aspect of Moodle, I would like to know how to best present the above tasks from teachers, instructional designers and lecturers please? - If you could share your thoughts on how you would approach the above tasks, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
