There is a way to make a link to the next lesson at the end of the current lesson. Using the settings block -> Lesson administration -> Edit settings scroll down to "Flow Control" and click the button to "Show advanced."
A setting appears called "Link to an activity" with a drop down box of the resources and activities in the course. When you reach the end of course page, directly under where "Congratulations - end of lesson reached" is printed is a link that says "Go to <the activity you linked to>"
As an untested guess, you can make the button on the content page jump to "End of lesson" to get to that page which links to the next activity.
