I've moved our db across from myIsam to Innodb and am trying to figure out some performance questions. After running /admin/dbperformance.php I'm getting some interesting results and not sure what I should be getting from doing a search of the forums.
1. MyIsam and InnoDb are both showing cache hits of 0%. I expected that for myIsam as we aren't using the db, but surprised me for Innodb. Is that what is supposed to appear?
2. table_cache - only used for innodb?
3. What is BDB data cache size?
4. Any other suggestions?
|MyISAM cache hit ratio||0||Cache ratio should be at least 90%|
|InnoDB cache hit ratio||0||Cache ratio should be at least 90%|
|sql cache hit ratio||90.11|
|data reads||2||Number of selects (Key_reads is not accurate)|
|data writes||0||Number of inserts/updates/deletes * coef (Key_writes is not accurate)|
|MyISAM data cache size||157M|
|BDB data cache size||Error:|
|InnoDB data cache size||800M|
|read buffer size||65536||(per session)|
|sort buffer size||256K||Size of sort buffer (per session)|
|table cache||Error:||Number of tables to keep open|

The note dates back to 2007:
Is the whole thing outdated?
