How I can do to export my glossary to pdf file? I have tried to print to pdf, but not succeful or the pdf file is very insatisfactory.
Any suggestion?

PD: I believe the option to print a pdf file should be available to all students, so they can get the collective "product" for the collaboration.

Why do you particularly want them to have it as a PDF document?
If they click on the Print icon:
And then in their browser > Files > Save as
They can download a HTML version. Or print it out on paper. Isn't that just as good?
I admit it's not immediately obvious how to do it.

... or print it to pdf if your default printer is acrobat distiller or by selecting it for this print job.
