I am trying to use moodle to create an on-line site for my magazine Awaaz
(Hindi for 'Voice'). We are currently using asp pages with an access
back-end but I want to put much more interactivity into the site.
System wide, how can I change the 'Courses' title to read Articles,
Teachers to read Content Developers and Students to read Members. We
will not strictly have teachers/students but persons who are members of
our community and content developers who add the articles.

The easiest way to do this is to edit the language file that you use (for example, English is '/lang/en/modle.php'). In there, you will find variables that hold the strings for the names you want to change.
