Dear all,
Any help or general nudges in the right direction would be helpful.
First here are the things I want the parent to be able to do when they login to moodle.
- View users profile and edit anything untoward
- View Forum posts
- View Blog entries (even if connected to an external blog)
- View the courses that the student is enrolled in (need at least a list of assignments set and due dates)
- View grades
Currently the parent role I have set up can view forum posts of student fine.
Blogs only gives a link to the parent users blog not connecting to the students blog (see screengrab)
Also clicking grades reveals the error in the second screengrab
The settings I have given the Parent role are as follows
- moodle/user:editprofile
- moodle/user:readuserblogs
- moodle/user:readuserposts
- moodle/user:viewalldetails
- moodle/user:viewuseractivitiesreport
- moodle/user:viewdetails
And thats it, any suggestions for further permissions to define in the parent role that will enable me to get where I want to would be greatly appreciated.
I have a team of Senior Managers at the school I work at on my back about this!
Regards
Tim Mace
