Hi Mai,

I'm an EFL and ESL teacher. I found this book has some helpful ideas: http://www.packtpub.com/moodle-1-9-for-second-language-teaching/book

However, in my opinion, the differences in learning and teaching approaches for second language acquisition aren't really any different once learners get past Intermediate level (CEFR B1). I think this book is probably more useful: http://www.packtpub.com/moodle-1-9-teaching-techniques/book

Moodle is pretty flexible and adaptable, and so it's usually possible to implement many different learning and teaching techniques and activities. I start from a theory and practice informed perspective and work out how to implement that with the tools available in Moodle. Having said that, it helps to be reasonably familiar with the tools available! smile
