I want the students to be able to search forums and the uploaded HTML files for the course. Is that possible?

It would be very cool if the resources that we creat were searchable, too.
I know I saw an open-source release of a site search tool, but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was called, nor where to look now, which is not much help, but I wonder if this wouldn't be a great entry for an enhancement wish list here somewhere.
I'll be back with the name if I can find it, but anyone else recall seeing this?

but it requires PEAR, it's only in Beta and may be too elaborate:
