I recently upgraded from Moodle 1.9 to Moodle 2.2, and while I've figured out most of what I need to do there's one thing I'm still having trouble with. With 1.9 I uploaded via FTP a sizeable HTML site (around 600MB) that would be linked via add file to my courses, and because it was in the moodledata folder it was off the webroot.
To replicate this for Moodle 2.2 I first attempted to use the file system repository before I realised that index.htm was being copied instead of linked to, and later I found instructions for uploading .zip copies of HTML minisites via Add resource -> file. Unfortunately there is no way around the 7MB upload limitation on my server, and my .zip is far bigger (around 500MB). I can't see any way to add this HTML site to my courses except uploading it to the webroot and using an external URL, which I really don't want to do. Does anybody have any suggestions for how I can have Moodle access this internally?
