We have an older 1.9 system running at work. We've create a new login for a user who should be working as Admin. However he can't access some parts of the site e.g. Reports->Statistics. He is assigned to Admin, both system-wide and locally on his account, but his role is still set to "Student". Any ideas?
Not quite sure what you mean by 'locally on his account' as it should only be necessary to assign a user the role of admin in the system context.
I've assigned Admin rights on the system wide "Assign Roles" option, and also on the profile page of the person in question. Not sure what context it does it but it was under the "assign roles" tab on the profile page.
