I'm setting up a file system repository for some common , "update once, changes everywhere" files and am wondering how long is (or is there actually any control over) the cache time for these?
I can see from the moodledata folder that moodle isn't making copies of the file system repository files when they are instanced in courses, the appear to be served from the repository folder, but they are not updating as expected - ie course links are not displaying/downloading updated files.
Assuming a caching issue.
Have tried reducing 'repositorycacheexpire', flushing all caches, running cron.
Wondering if it's hard coded somewhere?
Many thanks for any suggestions.
