I would suggest creating a new survey from the tested one. When you create a survey, you can choose an existing one in the same course (or one marked 'template' from other courses). It will copy all of the questions from the copied one to the new one, but none of the responses. Then you can just delete the original.
You may need to update your current version of the questionnaire from CVS. I just checked in a fix for potential problems with the copy function.
