Restoring a course from Moodle 1.9.x to Moodle 2.0

Can any one please help me to understand the process for restoring a course backup from Moodle 1.9.2 into Moodle 2.0. I tried it several times but the process fails. i have attached a screen grab of the message i get. I do understand from the message that the restore option will be available in the future updates (i guess Moodle 2.1) but i have a requirement to deliver a course in Moodle 2.0.

Is there any work around for Moodle 1.9.x --> Moodle 2.0?

Hi N:

The simplest way is to upgrade Moodle 2.0 to Moodle 2.1.x Then you can restore a course directly with the backups from Moodle 1.9. There may be some media/file links missing that you could fix them manually.
