When using moodle in a large school there are many teachers who will make notes into calendar of their own courses but also want write notes for the whole site.
OK. It's easy to change code in event_select.html so that teachers can insert calendar notes for whole site...but who control them
The suggestion is:
Make the posibility for admin-level person to change the status of calendar note... ie. course-level to site-level without "copy"-"new note"-"paste"-"delete old note" method.
Just click edit calendar note, click "level" radiobutton and save editing.

I have logged this as a feature request in the bugtracker as bug 2706. This had been going around in my mind lately as well, so we 'll add it at some point.
