Bulk user actions - teacher is not in "Course roles"

Hello

I don't know if this is the forum to send this correct me if I'm wrong.

I was going to send a message to teachers using Bulk user actions, however the teacher role is not in the list of roles I can choose from. In the list there are roles that I have made in Moodle but neither the teacher role or the student role. Can somebody tell me what kind of problem this is and how to fix it?

I'm using Moodle 2.1

There are some tracker issues relating to this  -see MDL-27673  and MDL-29244

I can see now on a new empty version of Moodle 2.1.2 that I have that this seems to be in order there.
