regarding "current activity", the new "Next activity grade" does more or less what you want I think.
- If the QuizPort has an exit page ...
- the link to the "Next" activity will only be displayed if ...
- the teacher has enabled the "Next" link in the exit page options
- AND the grade for the current activity is greater than than the"Next activity grade" setting
- otherwise the "Next" link will not be displayed
Note: if the teacher has enabled the "Retry" option on the exit page, then student will only see that, and will probably click it. - If the QuizPort does not have an exit page ...
- if there is a next activity specified ....
- if there is a "Next activity grade" specified and the grade for the current QuizPort is less than that grade, then the student will be forced to retry the current QuizPort
- otherwise, if there is a "Next activity" the student will be shown that
- otherwise, the student will be shown the course page
The ability to add pre and post conditions to activities would be lovely to have, but that functionality is part of the core functionality of Moodle 2.x, so at the current time I think it is better for me to concetrate my time and energy on creating TaskChain and allowing Moodle 1.9 QuizPorts to be upgraded to Moodle 2.x TaskChains.
