Blog Menu block not showing for Guests

Sorry for the cross posting, but I don't know if this is a Block issue or a Blog issue. Original post is here: http://goo.gl/ts33D

Hi All,

As the admin of my site ( www.AECMentor.com ) I have created a general blog and also registered a few external blogs. The blog is viewable to the entire world so guests can read the entries without logging in. I would like to add the Blog Menu block to the blog page (http://aecmentor.com/blog/) and have it also visible to the guests. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to display.

I have logged in as myself (admin) and added the block to the blog page (url listed above) and explicitly assigned permissions to the guest user to view the block (Settings > Permissions > Advanced Role Overrides > Guest > moodle/block:view > Allow. This has no affect.

I can add the Blog Menu block to the front page and make it display throughout the site. It then is visible for guests on the blog index page. However, this is not a viable solution, as the block is displayed everywhere.

Please help if you can.

Thanks,

Mark
