Asks for teacher submission

In my course, I have six students and two teachers. When working in the workshop module, Moodle keeps expecting the teachers to submit work. The teachers are enrolled only as teachers, not as students, but the Submission phase shows There is at least one author who has not yet submitted their work. It does allow me to proceed, but the message stays. Notice the Xs in the Submission and Grading phases. workshop submission message Is there something I have missed?

This is just a wild guess but in site admin>grades>general settings -do you have teacher ticked/checked in graded roles?

Hi Mary -

No, the teachers do not show up in the gradebook and only students are checked in the site admin>grades>general settings. Good thought, though.

The number of expected submissions is calculated as the number of users who have the capability 'mod/workshop:submit'. By default, only students are given this capability. So I believe you have either modified your teacher role definition or have it locally overridden.
