Dear Colleagues!

I have an important and urgent question. Our company should use the Moodle but we have got 25000 students. What are the recommend system requirements which can serve this?

Thanks your answer

About 60% of what 40000 users need. See "New installation: 40000 users" http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=186985

Seriously, did you go through the initial pointers given in the introduction to this forum?

I have a system with about that number of students.... twelve very big Sun boxes, plus a hugely expensive tape backup system and all the other stuff to make it work.

Without some background and some kind of clue about what the students will be doing and when there's absolutely no answer to this question.

You are going to run a pilot project to get some system load numbers for the type of work you are doing I hope wink

Will they be doing this in their own time or in organised classes? What's the maximum number of people who could be accessing the system at the same time?

How much disk storage do you need for all your content (SCORM needs room for both the zip file and the unzipped version)?

Thanks your help smile

The user access the course content all hour of the day. We use Moodle in corporate enviroment so if any colleague has been added to any course he or she has to access all content of course.

The storage isn't problem. smile
