How do you separate glossaries into different groups.  I am using 2.1.  In 1.9 I used Groupings.  But, now there doesn't seem away to have different glossary groups-- like one for each period of a school day.  ??

Go to Settings>Site Administration>Development>Experimental>Experimental settings and tick "available for group members only"

Dear Mary,
I enabled this setting, I see it arrive in the settings page of the glossary in moodle 1.9.x, I can select groouping and select the groups for grouping, but in the glossary view the particants still see all items, not only their own..

the mechanism works in forum and wiki (Also i do not see the group icon in edit m,ode for the glossary

Shoudl I create separate glossaries for grouping and add only one group per glossary to make it work?

I would have thought a separate glossary for each group/grouping would probably be the way to do it if you don't want them to see other groups' glossaries.
