I was wondering why moodle seems to fail validation (HTML & CSS). I'm a hotpotatoes user and the developers always recommend that we validate the page first and yet your site seems to fail.
I guess it wasn't a goal in the early days -- Google's homepage doesn't validate either 
But it is now. For the upcoming 1.5 there's a huge effort towards 100% valid XHTML+CSS. Please grab a "developer" current 1.5 daily from the download page and test that.
If you find non-validating XHTML there, please report which pages don't validate... in detail (what page, which tags, etc). We need testers for our XHTML compliance.
