We had made changes in 'Core Matching Question Type of Moodle 1.9'.

Actually I am "not in a position to suggest possible solutions" to anything in this forum ... but attached a moodle 2.1 version of that non core question type anyway, since I modified you those 1.9 files.
No quarantee that this tiny modification of matching question type will work in moodle 3.X

But 'Name of Question' NOT seen properly.
Plz. say something about modifications in above package (vmatch.zip)

Some Facts about this Q. type:-
1. It is modified from 'Core Matching Q. type of Moodle 2.2'
2. It is OK for Moodle 2.3
3. But 'Question name' doen't appear properly. (See Screenshot)
Plz. Suggest where to make changes for expected result.

Moodle 2.3 has also subversions (2.3.1+, 2.3.2+) and I was not sure which one you have so i made just quick changes based on 2.3.1+ (Build: 20120831) match question type - attached.
Information about how to upgrade your plugin between versions is in https://github.com/moodle/moodle/blob/master/question/type/upgrade.txt (and the same sort of things applies to other types of plugin too.)

This kind of well documented lists of necessary changes make upgrading 3rd party plugins much easier than using typical "trial by error"-method (or "check and change")
Vmatch question type that Ravi is using is almost equal to match question type - mostly "match" is just replaced with "vmatch" in files and filenames - and questions and answers are shown vertically using Joseph's suggestions for moodle 1.9 modification and a couple of rows of css added to make drop down lists longer. So if match question type is going to have major changes in the future, vmatch question type should simply be modified to use similar changes...
