i dont know if im right here but i try it:

I imported a course from a safe zip file but the pictures are not displayed - the path is something like

http://www.gbg-dus.de/moodle/file.php/3/fuenftel.jpg

All course_files are not shown (jpg and ppt files)

Where do i have to upload them ? (What means /file.php/ ?)

thanks for help

Michael

This is not the right place, but what a great postgülüyor  I can move this thread if someone comes up with a suggestion.

First: file.php is a php file that deals with legacy file systems (according to it's header).  That is good news for you.

I suspect that from the link that the pictures should be in a moodledata folder #3.  Humm, that could mean 2.1 created a legacy file system for you if the id of your course in the browser address window is id=3.  Do you have such a folder in moodledata?  If so try placing the fuenftel.jp there and see what happens.

I have not spent any time working with legacy files in 2.1.  There is a site administration setting to turn them on and off.  I have seen the icon for Legacy files in a few courses (see demo.moodle.net).   If you see the legacy file icon in the settings block, did you look in it to see what was there?

Hope this helps a little bit.   Back to my Moodle improvements gülüyor   Chris

Hi Michael,

In Moodle you have to go to the script for replacing php. This script should be in Moodle in a place like http://yoursite.net/admin/replace.php  Once there you have to look for the script replace.php where you are going  to check that the URL there is the new one for Moodle 2.1, if not , you have to change the URL there for the actual URL of your Moodle 2.1 site. The issue is that you have to replace the database records containing the old domain {from course version 1.9}  with the new one using the http://yournewsite.net/admin/replace.php script.  If you are in a hosting plan, you can ask them for help for searching and replacing in the database records.

Good luck.

Carmen
