In case you want to participate to a fully funded by the European Commission 5-days seminar on Moodle LMS in February 2011 in Athens, Greece, check the “Using Moodle in classroom” (http://moodletraining.itisart.com.gr/) seminar (Reference Number: GR-2012-170-001).
Participants will receive training about all Moodle features during a "learning by doing" and "learning while doing" 5-days seminar. Very experienced teachers will present how several teaching styles and strategies can be supported by Moodle learning management system.
If you work in EU (but not from Greece), and you are a Teacher (pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs), Teacher trainer, Inspector, Member of students/teachers councils in adult education, Instructional designer interested in this seminar, you should
- contact your National Agency (http://ec.europa.eu/education/lifelong-learning-programme/doc1208_en.htm) for getting the application forms. The EU grant will cover all costs, i.e. seminar fees, accommodation/subsistence and travelling.
- Fill in the application for a Grundtvig or Comenious In Service Training grant by 16th Sept 2011 and choose the “Using Moodle in classroom: Training step-by-step in Moodle features" seminar, reference Number: GR-2012-170-001. All participants will receive a certificate upon their participation in this seminar. Also, participants will get free access to the learning material that will be used.
