Users recieving unwated update emails

Good Morning,

I have two users who have been set as site level course creators in our 1.9 install (moving to 2 over xmas). They appear to be getting updates about forum posts from forums created by one particular person. Upon investigation they don't appear to be subscribed to any of the forums so it isn't a case of unscubscribing them.

We have a large user base however this issue only seems to be affecting these two users.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Shane,

Are the forum posts from a forum with forced subscription, such as a news forum? If so, perhaps you could check that your course creators do NOT have the capability mod/forum:initialsubscriptions.
