Autolinked popup goes off-screen

Autolinked popup goes off-screen

Yesterday, while in a Using Moodle forum (quiz) I noticed:
I just tried (using FF 6.0 on XP sp3) clicking on the word "interface" after submitting .... A rather lengthy term definition box came up with two bad characteristics:

most important: It extended below the window so some text was not visible. It was not moveable!

less important: The text was center justified.

Today the word "interface" in the original is not linked at all! I will go to the glossary forum.
But when I wrote the above "interface" was linked in the new post?!?

The first mention of "interface" in your post is linked. Using FF 6 on Win 7 64-bit, clicking takes the window to that glossary page. In Chrome 13, I get the same behavior. I don't respect IE 9 enough to open it black eye

So, I'm thinking it's all about how you've got FF set up.

I don't think this is a browser setting issue - just tested glossary autolinking in http://demo.moodle.net/course/view.php?id=5 and popup was shown fine there in Firefox 6.

I suspect somebody has implemented some new things to glossary code somewhere recently... or disabled some code here in moodle.org ... wink

Confirm. Using the same browsers as before, I also get a popup from the demo course, logged in as a student.
