Plugin "qformat_hotpot" is defective or outdated, can not continue, sorry.

 

I get this error in moodle:

ebug info:Missing version value in version.php

Stack trace:
  • line 298 of /lib/upgradelib.php: plugin_defective_exception thrown
  • line 1460 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to upgrade_plugins()
  • line 317 of /admin/index.php: call to upgrade_noncore()
what to do ? i have the newest version of moodle !

If you are getting this error ...

  • Plugin "qformat_hotpot" is defective or outdated, can not continue, sorry.

You are using the Moodle 1.9 version of the Hot Potatoes import script in Moodle 2.x. That won't work, so you will need to delete the following folder:

  • question/format/hotpot

And replace it with the "question/format/hotpot" in the following zip file:
