Is There An Enrollment Plugin?

Is There An Enrollment Plugin?

I manually enroll my students. It requires me to add them as  a new user, then go to enrolled user, then enroll the user, then add them to a group.

Is there a plugin that lets me do all of that on one screen?

Well you could upload via a CSV file - username/password/firstname/lastname/email/course1/group1 etc where course1 is the shortname of a course and group1 is the name of the group you want to put them into. (You don't need to create the groups in advance) And course2/group2 etc for other courses and groups.

Thanks Mary,

Actually, I do this already. But I am thinking of making manual enrollments easier for one or two at a time, when I have to do an ad hoc adding a new user. Now, its a 4 step process. Would be nice if all the steps were in one place in one screen. That's kind of what I am looking for.

For a coder, it seems like a really easy thing to do!

If you are using Moodle 2* then you also have cohorts available.

These can be either course or site, and are different from course groups.

Unfortunately csv uploads is not unavailable at this time for cohorts.  See

You would still need to the initial sorting.  sad
