I have a glossary-dictionary in a german language course where I have for each word an audio file with the correct pronunciation.
The multimedia filter works well in the glossary (screenshot 1), but in the linked entries (so if someone clicks a word in a text linked to the glossary) the audio player doesn't show, only the link, so they can then download the audio file, but couldn't play it instantly (screenshot 2).

Is it possible to turn on the multimedia filter in the linked entries, too?

I don't know whether this solves your problem, but you might have a look at the Auto-link Hijacker filter.
